Research Cores

The Research Cores are an initiative from the Office of the Vice President for Research and Graduate School to enhance access to and support of research services at New Mexico State University.

Physical Science Laboratory 

A world-recognized leader in sub-orbital platforms, specialized intelligence community support, advanced NASA scientific exploration and experimentation, homeland security sensing and detection technologies, and advanced weapons/countermeasures development.

New Mexico Space Grant Consortium 

NMSGC is a member of the congressionally funded National Space Grant College and Fellowship Program that has been administered by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) since 1989.                                                                                                                               

Institute of Applied Biosciences 

The Institute of Applied Biosciences addresses the most important research challenges of our time, from developing biofuels to understanding and combating emerging diseases. The key areas of the institute are synthetic biology and emerging pathogens.                                                                        

Core University Research Resources Laboratory 

The central goal of the Core University Research Resources Laboratory (CURRL) is to enable the research and educational communities within and around the University by providing easy access to sophisticated research tools and scientific expertise in order to facilitate sponsored research and formal training objectives through a financially sustainable plan.
