Shimadzu GC FID/FTD
Gas chromatography with flame ionization detection (FID) and flame thermionic detection (FTD) is used for analyzing hydrocarbons, fatty acids, and nitrogen- or phosphorus-containing compounds. The FID provides excellent sensitivity for organic compounds, while the FTD is particularly effective for detecting nitrogen and phosphorus-based pesticides and pollutants.
