Shimadzu RF-6000 Spectro Fluorometer
The RF6000 fluorescence spectrophotometer is designed for highly sensitive detection of fluorescent compounds. This has many applications in environmental, agricultural, food, chemical, and biological sciences. Some examples include plant pigments (Su et al. Photosynthesis Research, 2023, honey adulterants (https://www.spectroscopyonline.com/view/fluorescence-spectroscopy-detects-adulterated-honey), and oil contamination in water and soil such as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (ASTM D 5412 – 93). The optional integrating sphere allows additional avenues of research including solid samples.
