State of the Science Symposium

Hosted by New Mexico State University to discuss water sustainability in New Mexico, the event was held Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Las Cruces Convention Center. The symposium convened leadings voices in science, policy, and community engagement to explore current research and regulatory perspectives related to the strategic water supply, brackish groundwater development, water reuse, and the treatment and beneficial use of alternative water sources.
